The influence of natural conditions on the occurrence and movement of wild animals and the success of evaluating their detection using different working methods
POLENSKÝ, Jakub
This thesis aimed to determine the influence of landscape conditions on the occurrence and movement of wildlife and to evaluate the success of game detection using different methods, focusing on roe deer. Roe deer are our native game and are now one of our most widespread game animals. The entire dissertation was conducted to propose the most optimal way of searching for a game on agricultural land in front of hayfields using unmanned UAV technology with a thermal imaging camera. In order to achieve the aim of the thesis, several sub-steps were carried out, which mainly dealt with the issue of comparing the methods of deer detection in forage crops (ground survey versus the use of UAV technology) and the issue of returning the deer to the crops after they had been flushed out or carried away. Other sub-analyses included evaluating the effectiveness of alternative methods of scaring deer from stands using different types of scarecrows and assessing the occurrence of red deer on the land concerning the location of landmarks. The solution of the dissertation thesis resulted in the proposal of a methodological guide for optimizing the search for deer on forage plots on arable land and permanent grassland.

Heřman, Vladimír ; Ježek, Miloš (advisor) ; Benediktová, Kateřina (referee)
In selected hunting grounds MS Obratan was monitored a development of population of Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) and the influence of the environment on this population. There are data available about the blasting and weights of the caught pieces from eleven years, from 2005 to 2015. These data are divided by gender, respectively. divided on roe deer, deer and roe. Data were analyzed with regard to the time hunting during the year, together with the weight of the piece. In 2012 there was found an obvious increase in weight of the caught pieces of Roe deer, which was more distincted in the caught deer. It was also found that the month, in which the pieces were caught, does not affect its weight.
Issue of Deer ked from the Perspective of Monitoring
Bjelková, Karolína ; Horák, Jakub (advisor) ; Holuša, Jaroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis concerned issue of deer ked from the perspective of monitoring to wild game on the skin pulled from hunted animals and human specimens showing two locations for themselves binding - Mala Morava and Libava. Deer ked is hematophagous ectoparasite of cervids, which in recent years expanded its area of occurrence from Europe to America. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and intensity of infection and to evaluate the influence of the nature habitant, weather factors or determination of sex by the host. For identification were examined 95 animals in body area, on the nape and genitals. The overall intensity of the attack were analysed in relation to age, gender, weather and landscape characteristics of point of capture. Results of occurrence of deer ked are described and evaluated demostrate the prevalence of infection almost 100%, but the rate pressure of animals ranged from 0 to 10 deer ked 100 cm-2. The highest occurence was found in males, and simultaneously was also associated wit a host of areas on the body where the most parasites were found on the genitals, 7-10 pieces. The significant influence had the temperature. The influence of rainfall was insignificant. It was found that the highest occurrence is on the animals, which use habitant fields and meadows, probably due to positive effects of solar radiation and thereby raise the surface temperature of the skin. Localization of body aeas can be used to setting means for effectiveness insecticide against these parasites.
